Display the time on the Home screen of your Google TV or Android TV

Set the time correctly, and on the Clock display settings, choose On (always).

Notes:

• To prevent image retention, a constant clock display is not available for models equipped with an OLED panel.
• The images provided are examples of the display screen. Your screen may vary.

How to set the time

If the TV is connected to a network

1. On the remote control, press the Quick settings ( or ) button.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select System.
4. Select Date & time.
5. Set Automatic date & time to On.

If the TV is not connected to a network

1. On the remote control, press the Quick settings ( or ) button.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select System.
4. Select Date & time.
5. Set Automatic date & time to Off.
6. Manually adjust the Time and Date.

How to set the Clock display or Auto clock display setting to On (always)

1. On the remote control, press the Quick settings ( or ) button.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Date & time.
4. Select Clock display or Auto clock display then select On (always).
   

Notes:

• Even if you don't set the clock display to On (always), you can temporarily display the time by pressing the DISPLAY or (Info/Text reveal) button on the supplied remote control. You can perform this operation anytime with any screen, including OLED models.
  
• The clock is also displayed on the TV screen when the screensaver is activated (except for OLED models).
  
• To set the TV screensaver, press the HOME button on the remote control, then in the upper-right of the Home screen, click the Account icon, and then select the Screensaver icon (a thumbnail image with the time displayed).
  

If the Date & Time have been set, the time can be displayed in the upper-right of the Home screen.
Note: For some of the models equipped with an OLED panel, to prevent image retention, constant display of the clock is not available.

How to set the time

If your TV is connected to a network

1. On the remote control, press the HOME.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Device Preference.
   Note: If Device Preference is not shown, skip this step.
4. Select Date & time.
5. The following steps vary depending on the model:
   • Set Automatic date & time to On.
   • Select Automatic date & time → Use network time.
   • Set Automatic date & time to On, then set Time synchronization to Use network-provided time.

If the TV is not connected to a network

1. On the remote control, press the HOME.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Device Preference.
   Note: If Device Preference is not shown, skip this step.
4. Select Date & time.
5. Set Automatic date & time to Off.
6. Manually adjust the Date and Time.
