There is no sound from an active subwoofer connected to the television.
Follow this procedure to troubleshoot if there is no sound coming from an active subwoofer connected to the television.
- Ensure the subwoofer is connected to the MIX or SUB output on the stereo system or TV.
- Ensure the power cord of the subwoofer is connected to a working AC outlet.
- Turn on the subwoofer.
- Ensure the subwoofer has not been muted.
- Increase the volume level on the subwoofer.
- Ensure the speaker settings on the stereo system or TV have been configured properly to use the subwoofer.
IMPORTANT: Certain speaker settings may disable the subwoofer. Trying a different speaker setting may resolve the issue. Consult the instruction manual of the stereo system or TV for additional information.
- If the stereo receiver has different sound fields available, try selecting a different sound field.

- Connect the subwoofer to a different MIX or SUB output on the stereo system, if available.
- Replace the subwoofer connecting cable.
