How to turn off the Distance Alert feature on a Sony BRAVIA TV?
The Distance Alert feature is available on some Sony BRAVIA TVs. This feature causes the picture to turn off and a warning sound will be heard when a viewer gets too close to the television, usually within about 3 feet.
To turn off this feature follow the steps below:
- Press the Home button.
- Select Settings.
- Select Preferences.
- Select ECO.
- Select Presence Sensor.
- Select Off.
- Press the Return button.
- Select Distance alert.
- Select Off.
