Unable to get sound from a TV that is connected using an HDMI cable

Check the connections and settings to resolve this issue.
- Make sure that the HDMI® cable connection to the TV and the audio receiver is secure.
- Make sure that the TV is compatible with the Audio Return Channel (ARC) function.
Note: If the TV does not have this function a separate audio connection must be made from the audio output of the TV to the receiver. Check the TV manual for more information.
- Using the menu of the receiver, set the Control for HDMI to ON.
- Using the menu of the receiver, set the Audio Return Channel to ON.
