Connect your internet capable Blu-ray Disc™ player, TV, or Network media player to your network and the internet using a wireless or wired connection.
Before you start
- Make sure your modem and router are setup and your network is connected to the internet. For details, refer to your modem and router manuals, or contact your internet provider or the device manufacturer for assistance.
- If you choose to use a wired connection, it requires connecting a network cable (not supplied) from the router to the LAN port on the back of your device.
- LAN-ready devices require additional equipment (wireless LAN adapter, gaming adapter, wireless bridge, or powerline adapter).
Network connection options
Using a wired (network cable) connection generally provides the best performance. Using a wireless connection depends on if your device has built-in wireless or is LAN-ready. Select your preferred connection option:

Wireless connection
To use a wireless connection, your device must have built-in wireless or be LAN-ready. If your device is LAN-ready, view the LAN-ready connection options for using various wireless adapters or a wireless bridge (not supplied). For additional information on your model, check your device

Select the device you're connecting to your network:

Note: The UWA-BR100 wireless LAN adapter is no longer available. If you don't have one of these adapters, consider using the gaming adapter, wireless bridge, or powerline adapter options.

Gaming adapter
- Install your gaming adapter.
- After completing the gaming adapter setup, proceed with the network setup of your Blu-ray Disc player, TV or Network media player.
- On the supplied remote control, press the HOME or MENU button.
- Select Settings.
- Select Network.
- Select Network Setup.
- Follow the steps to set up a wired internet connection.

Powerline adapter
- Install your powerline adapter.
- After completing the powerline adapter setup, proceed with the network setup of your Blu-ray Disc player, TV or Network media player.
- On the supplied remote control, press the HOME or MENU button.
- Select Settings.
- Select Network.
- Select Network Setup.
- Follow the steps to set up a wired internet connection.

Wireless LAN adapter (UWA-BR100)
- Connect the wireless adapter securely into the USB port of the internet-capable TV, Blu-ray Disc player, or Network media player. If there's more than one USB port, check your device manual to determine which one to use.
- On the supplied remote control, press the HOME or MENU button.
- Select Settings.
- Select Network.
- Select Network Setup.
- Follow the steps to set up a wireless (Wi-Fi®) connection.
