How do I set the time on an Android TV or Google TV to adjust for Daylight Saving Time (DST)?
The following steps vary depending on whether the Date & time setting is set automatically or manually on your Android TV™ or Google TV™.
Note: If your TV doesn't receive broadcast signals or doesn't have network connections, follow the steps if the date and time are manually set.
If the date and time are set to automatically
- Open the Settings screen.
- If the remote control has a Quick Settings ( or ) button, press the Quick Settings button and select Settings.
- If the remote control does not have a Quick Settings ( or ) button, press the HOME button and select Settings.

The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
- Select System → Date & time.
- Select Device Preferences → Date & time.
- Select Device Preferences → Date & time → Time.
- Select Date & time.
- Select Date & time → Time.

Select Set time zone, then select the proper city.
If the date and time are set to manually
- Open the Settings screen.
- If the remote control has a Quick Settings ( or ) button, press the Quick Settings button and select Settings.
- If the remote control does not have a Quick Settings ( or ) button, press the HOME button and select Settings.

The next steps depend on your TV menu options:
- Select System → Date & time → Automatic date & time and set to Off
- Select Device Preferences → Date & time → Automatic date & time and set to Off.
- Select Date & time → Automatic date & time and set to Off.

In Date & time, set the following settings.
- Select Automatic date & time, then set to Off.
- Select Set time zone, then select the proper city.
Note: If Set time zone is not shown, select Time → Set time zone, then select the proper city. - Select Set time, then set the correct time.
