Videos on my USB device don't display on the video or media player app of my Android TV or Google TV

This may occur when connecting a USB storage device containing videos to your Android TV™ or Google TV™ and using the TV's Video or Media Player apps. Depending on the model, the following messages may appear:
- No items
- Videos stored on your USB mass storage will appear here
Allow the TV a little extra time to recognize and load your videos. The loading time depends on the TV model and the number of videos stored on your USB device.
Note: Depending on the model, the screen may be updated repeatedly until all the content is loaded.
