My TV is no longer able to access internet apps and services

    After May 22, 2018, a very small portion of TVs may become unable to access previously working internet apps, updates, or other network services due to changes in the content hosting infrastructure. The following information is provided to help resolve the issue:

    Power reset your modem/router

    Internet connection issues are often resolved after performing a power reset. If you have a separate modem and router, power reset both devices.

    1. Unplug the power cable to your modem/router and wait about 60 seconds.
    2. Reconnect the power cable to your modem/router and ensure it's turned on.
    3. Wait until the modem/router is finished making its connection to the internet and your network.
    4. Check your internet connection.

    Perform a power reset of your TV

    Select your TV type and follow the instructions provided to perform a power reset of your TV.

    • LCD TV models (non-Android)

    Perform network diagnosis

    If your TV continues to experience internet access issues for apps or other network services, select your TV type and follow the instructions provided to perform network diagnosis. Use the network diagnosis to help identify and resolve the issue.

    Note: It's recommended that is installed on your TV. If your TV is set for automatic updates, you may already have the latest update.
