Text magnification is useful for people who have difficulty reading text on the TV screen because the text is too small.
Note:
- Similar functions are also available in the INTERNET BROWSER (must be downloaded).
- Zoom: Magnifies the text and all other elements.
- Text Size: Allows you to select Normal or Large text size.
- When the Text magnification function is set to ON, some edit options, including Move and Hide in Inputs, might not work.
- When the Text magnification function is set to ON, some of the Quick Settings edit options might not work.
Enable text magnification
- On the supplied TV remote, press the HOME button.
- Select Settings, and press the Enter button
- For Android 9 and Android 8.0, the Settings icon is located at the upper right corner of the Home menu.
- For Android 7.0, it is located at the lower left corner of the Home menu.
- For Android 9 only: Press the Down arrow button to select Device Preferences, and press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select Accessibility, and press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select Text magnification, and press the Enter button.
- Select Enable and press the Enter button.
- Select OK and press the Enter button.
- Press the Home button to exit.
Note: The availability of this function varies depending on the country, region, and language.
Change the color of the text
- Press the HOME button.
- Select Settings, and press the Enter button
- For Android 9 and Android 8.0, the Settings icon is located at the upper right corner of the Home menu.
- For Android 7.0, it is located at the lower left corner of the Home menu.
- For Android 9 only: Press the Down arrow button to select Device Preferences, and press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select Accessibility, and press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select Text magnification, and press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select Configuration, and press the Enter button.
- Select Color and press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select your preferred combination of text and background color from White on black, Black on white, and Yellow on black, and then press the Enter button.
- Press the Home button to exit.
Change the duration of the text appearance
- Press the HOME button.
- Select Settings, and press the Enter button
- For Android 9 and Android 8.0, the Settings icon is located at the upper right corner of the Home menu.
- For Android 7.0, it is located at the lower left corner of the Home menu.
- For Android 9 only: Press the Down arrow button to select Device Preferences, and press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select Accessibility, and press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select Accessibility, and press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select Configuration, and press the Enter button.
- Press the Down arrow button to select Duration, and press the Enter button.
- Press the Up arrow or Down arrow button to select your preferred duration from Very short to Very long, and then press the Enter button.
- Press the Home button to exit.
