Changes with the Home Menu After the Software Update

You will see some changes with the Home menu of your Android TV™ device when you update to Android™ 8.0 Oreo™ operating system.
Home Menu Screen
You can now see Apps, Play Next, your viewing history, Channels, and icons for Inputs, Timers, and Settings in the new home screen.

Apps Icon
Select the Apps icon to show a list of apps installed on your TV. You can also display the apps if you press and hold the HOME button on the supplied remote control.

Inputs Icon
The home screen no longer shows the TV inputs such as HDMI1 and HDMI2. Select the Inputs icon to access and change the TV input. You can also press the INPUT button on the remote.

Settings and Timers
The icons for Settings and Timers are now on the upper right of the Home menu screen.

Help is now on the list of apps. To see it, you can select the Apps icon or press and hold the HOME button on the remote.

Network Signal Strength
Wi-Fi® signal strength is no longer displayed on the home menu screen. To locate the signal strength icon, press the HELP button on the remote and select View network status.
