How to add live streaming channels to the Sony Program Guide

What are live streaming channels?

    You can add some streaming channels into Sony Program Guide by adding the apps for those streaming channels.
    The message such as Enjoy new channels by adding them directly to your Sony Program Guide will appear when you select or add the app. Once you add the app for the live streaming channel into the program guide, you can access a variety of new channels with a simple operation, just like conventional broadcast channels.

    • This function is available for the apps which support Channel Integration.

      A4: Follow these steps to setup the live streaming channels:
      1. Press the Home button on the remote control.
      2. Select Settings.
      3. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
        • Select Watching TV → Channels → Streaming channel setup
        • Select Channels → Channel setup
      4. Select the streaming channel which you want to add into the program guide.
      5. Select Setup.
      6. Set up will start and, once completed, the channel list will be added into the program guide. You can watch the added programs by just selecting them on the program guide.

    Note: There may be additional steps, or the steps vary, depending on the app.

    • Q5: How do I remove live streaming channels from the program guide?
      A5: You can remove live streaming channels from the program guide by uninstalling the app. This will remove all the channels from that app. You cannot remove or re-order individual channels.
      Note: You can hide channels individually. Perform the following operations to set unnecessary channels to Hide.
      1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
      2. Select Settings.
      3. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
        • Select Watching TV → Channels → Streaming channel setup
        • Select Channels → Channel setup
      4. Select the streaming channel which you want to hide from the program guide.
      5. Select Show/Hide channels.
      6. Remove the check from the program you wish to hide.
