Apple TV access issues or unable to pair Apple devices to my TV using the AirPlay app or HomeKit

To use the Apple TV app, AirPlay, and HomeKit, you need to enable the Sony Smart TV services via the BRAVIA™ TV Privacy Policy. If you experience Apple TV access or connection issues when pairing to an Apple device (for example, iPhone or iPad) using the AirPlay app, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

    1. Restart your Apple device.
    2. Enable the Sony Smart TV services via the Privacy Policy screen.
      1. On the supplied TV remote, press the HELP or Input button, and then select Help.
        Notes:
        • If Help is not shown, select EditHelp to add it to the input selection screen.
        • For BRAVIA 3 (S30): Press the Home button, then select Your appsSee allHelp.
      2. Go to Status & Diagnostics, and then select Privacy settings.
      3. On the Privacy Policy screen, read the privacy policy; if you agree, scroll down to the very bottom of the policy, and then agree, at least concerning Sony Smart TV services, or select the Agree to all option if you desire.
      4. On the TV remote control, press the Input button, and then select AirPlay from the input selection screen to display the AirPlay menu.

Note: The AirPlay function, per design, can't turn the supported TV off by itself. If this happens, confirm if any external devices (like soundbars, receivers, Blu-ray Disc™ players, etc.) connected to the TV via HDMI/Arc or HDMI/eArc have an auto-off function and if it's disabled. AirPlay function per design does support turning the TV on when content is to be shared from an Apple device (iPad, iPhone, MAC) to the TV. This is typically done from the Apple device's AirPlay/Mirror/Cast app.
