My TV has no picture, no power, or the LED light blinks or flashes red
This information provides a variety of steps for various issues. Select the issue you are experiencing for help troubleshooting.
The standby indicator blinks in red
Troubleshooting
- Performing a power reset or restart of your TV may resolve this issue if it's caused by a temporary malfunction.

Power reset
- Unplug the TV power cord from the wall outlet (or from the back of the TV or power adapter if the power cord is detachable and accessible), wait two minutes, then plug the power cord back in.
Note: If your TV power cord is completely inaccessible, you may be able to disconnect the power by temporarily turning off the circuit breaker switch to the power outlet used by your TV. Otherwise, skip this step and try a power restart. -
Power restart
Note: A power restart using your TV remote or by using the TV menu may not be possible under some conditions. If you cannot perform a power restart, try performing the power reset option as provided in the previous step by temporarily disconnecting power to your TV.-
Android TV™ or Google TV™ models
The menu items and steps may vary, follow the steps that best match your TV menu.
- Restart the TV with the supplied remote control:
- Press and hold the POWER button until Power off appears on the screen
- Press and hold the POWER button until a menu appears → select Restart
- Restart using the TV menu:
- On the supplied remote, press the Quick Settings button, then select Settings → System → Restart → Restart
- On the supplied remote, press the HOME button, then select Settings → About → Restart → Restart
- On the supplied remote, press the HOME button, then select Settings → Device Preferences → About → Restart → Restart
Note: When restarting with the remote or menu, the TV will automatically power off and back on after a short time. - Restart the TV with the supplied remote control:

Standard LCD/LED TV models
Steps to perform a power restart using the TV remote or TV menu are not available on the standard LCD/LED (non-Android TV/Google TV) models. If you haven't done so already. use the previous option to perform a power reset.

Android TV™ or Google TV™ models

- Check if any devices connected to your TV are causing an issue (such as a malfunctioning device or a data communication issue).
- Turn off the TV.
- Disconnect all devices (including any external USB devices, hard drives, and all HDMI-connected devices) from the TV.
- Turn on the TV and check if the issue goes away (which means the TV is not the cause). If the TV is working, continue with the steps to help identify the cause.
- Reconnect your devices one at a time to your TV, testing the TV after connecting each device.
- If the indicator starts blinking after a certain device is connected, check that device for an issue.

- Check your TV power cord (and AC adapter for some models) to ensure they're not loose or disconnected.
- Press the power switch on the TV to see if the TV turns on.

No picture on your TV from a connected device
Select the issue based on your connection type:
Models equipped with the Presence Sensor
Note: Android TV and Google TV models don't have this function.- Turning off the Presence Sensor.
Note: The following steps are an example of how to turn off the Presence Sensor. Refer to the operating instruction manuals supplied with your product for model-specific details.
- On the supplied remote, press the HOME button.
- Select Preferences.
- Select Eco.
- Select Presence Sensor.
- Select OFF.
- Perform a power reset of your LCD / LED or Projection TV.
If the issue continues after completing the troubleshooting steps, your TV may require repair.  Go to Product Repair.
