Notes:
BRAVIA CAM (CMU-BC1) is an optional accessory. However, the BRAVIA CAM (CMU-BC1M) is supplied with the Z9K and A95K model series TVs.
To fully utilize the camera's functions, attach the camera to the center of the top of the TV. Peel off the protection film on the front of the camera before use. If you don't remove this film, camera performance will deteriorate.
Note: If your BRAVIA CAM is the included camera (CMU-BC1M), please refer to the Setup Guide for how to attach it to your TV.
You can use the Camera sensing functions without changing any settings. If you want to change the settings, such as turning off the BRAVIA CAM lamp, on the remote control, press the Quick Settings ( or ) button → select Settings → Remotes and accessories → BRAVIA CAM.

The camera sensing functions will be available after a software update.
If your BRAVIA TV supports the camera sensing functions, Proximity Alert is displayed in the BRAVIA CAM settings. On the remote control, press the Quick Settings ( or ) button, and select Settings → Remotes and accessories → BRAVIA CAM → Proximity Alert.
The TV may not be detected or have some error due to the camera angle or position of people between the TV and the camera. Please try to change the camera angle or position to get a more accurate result.
If an object looks like a person or a face (like a photo, doll, or animal), there is the possibility it will be recognized as a person. Move those things out of the camera's sight using a camera sensing function.
A BRAVIA CAM restart is required to temporarily power off the camera when a camera sensing function is turned off. The camera sensing function will be unavailable for a while, but it will be restored. There is no change in the setting value.
Note: The same restart message appears when any of the camera sensing functions are turned off.

The shutter of BRAVIA CAM may be closed. Please check if the shutter is open.

Use the remote control to turn off the TV, disconnect and reconnect BRAVIA CAM, and then try the update again.
Do not remove the BRAVIA CAM during the camera update.
When the camera is removed, it becomes temporarily unrecognized by the TV. Reboot the TV by turning it off and back on, and the issue will be resolved. To avoid this and other issues in the future, do not remove the BRAVIA CAM during a camera update.
The Clear data function will erase the sensing information collected by the BRAVIA CAM and stop and initialize all camera sensing functions. Use this function when you want to return all camera sensing functions to their initial state at the time of purchase.
