How to show the password entered into the password input screen of your Android TV

Depending on the app or service, you may be unable to show the password entered into the password input screen of apps and services of your Android TV™. To see the password entered, check if the Show password option is available on the password input screen of your TV's specific app or service.

Follow the steps to show the password entered into the password input screen of your TV:

1. When you have the soft or on-screen keyboard open to enter your password, using the supplied remote control, press the BACK button to close the soft or on-screen keyboard and return to the password input screen.
2. At the password input screen, if available, select to place a checkmark in the Show password box.

   

   Note: You won't be able to show the password if this option is not available.
