Unable to connect Android TV to the internet using Wi-Fi with WEP encryption
When using Wi-Fi® with WEP encryption, the Android™ TV can't identify an incorrect password. Because of this, when an incorrect password is entered, the appropriate error message is not displayed. If your TV can't connect to the internet or your network, make sure that the password is entered correctly, regardless of the error message that appears. The following error messages may be displayed:
- Router not found
- Could not connect to the Internet
- Could not find (your Wi-Fi network)
Note: The message Connected successfully! may also appear even if the TV has not been able to connect to the internet because of an incorrect password. Verify your password and then try to connect again.
