Error Message: ATSC Tuner Input Service has Stopped. Appears on the Screen

Leanback launcher, program guide, com.sony.dtv.service and ATSC tuner stops responding

Other Possible Error Messages

• com.sony.dtv.service has stopped responding
• Leanback launcher is not responding
• Content bar is not responding
• BIVL service has stopped
• Program guide has stopped

Solution

1. Reset your TV to factory settings.
   • For Android TV™, perform a forced factory reset.
     Note:

     The number of the buttons on the back of your TV determines which reset steps you need to follow.

     • If there are only three buttons.
     • If there are four or more buttons.

   • For all other TVs .
2. If asked during the initial setup, Disable or Turn off SAMBA TV.

3. If you have the error com.sony.dtv.service has stopped responding, perform a clear cache and clear data on the app.

   To clear cache or clear data:

   1. On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
   2. Select Settings.
   3. Under the TV category, select Apps.
   4. Under the System Apps, select com.sony.dtv.enclave.service.
   5. Select Clear data.
   6. Select OK.
   7. Select Clear cache.
   8. Select OK.

4. Make sure there are no pending app updates.

   To check for pending apps:

   1. On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
   2. On the HOME menu, select Apps.
   3. Under Apps, select Google Play Store.
   4. Under the Google Play Store app, select My Apps.
   5. Select Updates.
