(Wired) Connection diagnosis results are displayed as OK, Failed, Failed
After performing a network diagnosis, the result may appear as:
- Physical Connection: OK
- Local Access: Failed
- Internet Access: Failed
Follow the troubleshooting steps below. Each of these steps represents a possible solution to this issue, so please check the network connection status after completing each step.
- Make sure the LAN cable is securely connected to the TV and to the router.
- Connect the LAN cable to a different LAN port on the router.
- Reset all of the network equipment, such as cable modem and router, by turning them off and unplugging them for two minutes.
- Plug in the power cord of the modem.
- Plug in the power cord of the router.
- After turning them on again, wait for a few minutes until they are done initializing, and then confirm you can access the internet on your other devices (such as a smartphone or computer).
- Plug in the TV power cord, and then turn on the power.
- Perform the connection diagnosis again.
