Does my TV support Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit?

With Apple AirPlay, you can stream movies, music, games, and photos to your television right from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

Notes:

• Support for Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit depends on your TV type or model.
• To check the type of your TV, refer to the How to check if your BRAVIA™ TV is a Google TV™, Android TV™, or other TV article.
• If your TV does not support Apple AirPlay2 or HomeKit, you can refer to Mirror, cast, or display the content or screen of a mobile device on the TV screen for other possible casting or mirroring methods.

Google TV™

All Google TV models support Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit.

Note: The W8K and X74K_X75K series TVs require a software update to support Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit.

Android TV™

The following TV models support Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit:

• A9_A9S series
• Z8H_ZH8 series
• A8_A8H series
• XH95_X95H series (49", 55", 65", 75" and 85" models)
• XH90_X90H_X91H_XH92 series
• KM-X9000H series
• XH85_X85H_XH91 series
• XH81 series
• XH80_X80H_X81xH series

The following TV models support Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit with a software update:

• Z9G_ZG9 series
• A9G_AG9 series
• XG95_X95G series
• XG85_X85G series (55", 65", 75" and 85" models)
• Z9F_ZF9 series
• A9F_AF9 series

Note: If you enabled the Automatically check for update feature, a notification will appear on your TV once the update is available.
