Sometimes my TV doesn't respond when I say "OK Google"

IMPORTANT: Not all models have a built-in microphone. Check your TV Reference manuals for details.

If your TV doesn't always respond to the "Ok Google" command, changing the TV position setting may improve this condition.

• Check the TV position setting.
  1. Go to the TV Settings screen. This step may vary, follow the steps according to the TV menu options:
     • Press the Quick setting button, then select Settings. (For models released in 2019 or later)
     • Press the HOME button, then select Settings. (Other models)
  2. This step will vary depending on your model. Follow the steps according to the TV menu options:
     • Select Display & Sound → Sound → TV position → Front Position Style or Back Position Style/Wall Mount.
     • Select Display & Sound → TV position → Table-Top stand or Wall Mount.
     • Select Sound → TV position → Table-Top stand or Wall Mount.
  3. Say "OK Google" clearly and louder than the TV sound.
  Note: If the room is too noisy, move closer to your TV or use the MIC button on the TV remote control.
