How to enjoy 3D surround using the Neckband Speaker or Sony headphones

By pairing the Wireless Neckband Speaker (SRS-NS7 or BRAVIA Theater U) or Sony headphones to your TV, you can enjoy the realistic sound of the 3D surround with the Neckband Speaker or headphones.
In addition, you can use the data regarding the shape of your ear with a compatible app to help you enjoy more immersive and optimized 3D surround effects.

Before you start
- For compatible Sony headphones, check the following: https://www.sony.net/tr_comp_tvhp
- For SRS-NS7 users: There is no need to connect the transmitter that came with the Neckband Speaker or the wireless transmitter (WLA-NS7). If the transmitter is connected, the TV screen will prompt you to disconnect the transmitter. After disconnecting the transmitter, connect the speaker and TV using Bluetooth®.

How to set up more immersive 3D surround settings on the TV
Just by pairing the wireless neckband speaker or Sony headphones to your TV, 3D Surround is added to the quick settings, and you can enjoy standard 3D surround without any special settings. To enjoy a more immersive 3D surround, check the following.
Set more immersive 3D surround settings:
IMPORTANT:- To set up a more immersive 3D surround, sign in to Sony's Cloud Service for Home Entertainment & Sound Products.
- Connect to the Internet in advance to make the settings.
- On the screen displayed after the pairing, select Next. You will see a settings screen to enjoy a more immersive 3D surround.
Note: The headphone model name or device name is displayed. - Select Optimize now to continue setting up a more immersive 3D surround.
Note: You can also make this setting later. In that case, select Not now. If you want to set it later, please refer to the Set 3D Surround settings later. - Prepare a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet and follow the on-screen instructions to Sign in.
Note: If the Select your account screen appears, select the account to use and follow the instructions.
- After signing in, install the dedicated 360 Spatial Sound Personalizer app and follow the instructions on the app's screen to take pictures of your ears with your mobile device. When the measurement is completed, the TV screen will switch automatically.
- After completing the settings, select Play demo to start the demo.
Set the immersive 3D surround settings later or make additional settings with another account:
A more immersive 3D surround setting can be made later, or additional settings can be made in another account. Check the following for the procedure.
- On the TV remote control, press the Quick Settings button.
- Select Settings.
- Select Display & Sound → Audio output → Bluetooth device settings → 3D surround device setting → Hearing profile.
- Select Add.
- Select Next and follow the on-screen instructions.
Enjoy 3D surround
You can enjoy 3D surround using the Neckband Speaker or headphones.
Note: 3D surround can't be used when sound is output from neckband speakers or headphones and the TV speakers or audio system.
How to stop 3D surround:
Turn off the Neckband Speaker, headphones, or the 3D surround from the Quick Settings. The 3D surround will end, and the TV will output sound.
How to restart 3D surround:
To use the Neckband Speaker or headphones again, press the Quick Settings button on the TV remote control and turn on the 3D surround.
Note: If the TV already has the 3D surround turned on, you can enjoy the 3D surround by turning on the Neckband speaker or headphones. If you can't start 3D surround after turning on the Neckband speaker or headphones, turn on 3D surround.
