Audio descriptions, also known as video descriptions, are an additional audio track that provides verbal narration about components of a scene to those who are visually impaired as complementary narration.
You can listen to a verbal description of the visual content by either of the following methods, depending on the model:
To enable a verbal description of the visual content, press the AUDIO button on the TV remote control, then select an audio option labeled with "AD" (e.g., Audio2 AD or English AD).

Turning the Audio Description (video description) feature ON and OFF
- On the remote control, press the MENU button.
- Select Audio → OK, then select your preferred audio (language).
The Audio Description feature supports optional settings such as Audio type, Primary language, and Secondary language. To adjust these settings, refer to the following steps:
- On the remote control, press the (Quick Settings) button.
- Select System → Accessibility → Audio settings (broadcast), then select Audio type, Primary language, or Secondary language.
