Can't hear the system sound or the Google Assistant response when using the eARC function

This may occur if eARC mode is enabled on your TV and you watch a video from an external device that's connected to the TV with an HDMI® cable. Because the audio signal from the HDMI input passes through the TV, it can't be output to the audio system at the same time as the system sound (when navigating the menu) or the Google Assistant voice response from the TV. This is normal operation.
Note: The TV will output both sounds when watching from a USB device, streaming service, or broadcast.
