Can I turn off or disable the Info Banner display on an Android TV or Google TV?
IMPORTANT: This solution applies to Android TV™s and Google TV™s. For other BRAVIA™ TVs, refer to the Can the Info Banner display be turned off or disabled? article.
Follow these steps to turn off the Info Banner:
- Go to Settings
- For models released in 2019 or later: use the Quick Settings button
- On the remote control, press the
(Quick Settings) button.
- Select
(Settings).
- On the remote control, press the
- For other models: use the HOME button
- On the remote control, press the HOME button.
- Select
- For models released in 2019 or later: use the Quick Settings button
- The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
- Select Channels & Inputs → Info banner → set to disable
- Select Watching TV → Info banner → Hidden or set to disable
- Select Channels → Info banner → Hidden or Off
- Select Channel setup → Info banner → Off or set to disable
