WF-1000XM5 earbuds connect to my device while in the case

If the WF-1000XM5 earbuds are not inserted into the charging case correctly or if the charging contacts are dirty, they may still connect to other devices even when they are inside the case. If you encounter this issue, open and close the case and check if it fixes the problem.

If the issue still occurs, do the following and check if the issue is resolved after completing each step:

1. Update the firmware to the latest version.
2. Use a soft dry cloth to clean the charge contacts on the earbuds [A] and charging case [B].
   
   
   
3. Place the earbuds securely into the charging case. If the earbuds are floating in the case, they may not turn off.
