How to check if the DSEE HX or DSEE Extreme function is active on the headphones

To check if the DSEE HX or DSEE Extreme function is active on the headphones, follow these steps:

Note: The DSEE HX or DSEE Extreme function will be disabled when the headphones are connected to a playback device using the wired connection or when playing a High-Resolution (Hi-Res) audio file.

1. On the Sound tab of the Sony | Headphones Connect app, you can turn on the DSEE HX or DSEE Extreme function.
2. Once enabled, DSEE HX or DSEE Extreme will be displayed under the headphone model name on the Sony | Headphones Connect app dashboard.
