Sony has been know to make great products and their TV has stand the test of times from the Trinitron TV days

I bought this Sony TV set one month ago and no regret as the image appeared was so clear.

It was a last minute buy and I'm glad I did. Great picture quality. Ease of use. My few disappointments: it doesn't support whatsapp app, and Gmail accounts, and I have a hard time trying to find a suitable Web browser.

The TV is great for the good price I got from Lazada's Sony Lazmall on 6.6 sale. The colours are vibrant and video is sharp and everything works just fine. The delivery was a little delayed but the delivery man did have his company called me up to inform. The setup was smooth. The only one issue I had was with the warranty registration. Having bought it from Sony Lazmall on Lazada, I thought it would b a local set. The delivery man also informed me to register the warranty online using information on the box. When I tried, it kept failing saying the serial number doesn't match the TV model. I contacted Sony Lazmall using Lazada's chat and was told to call Sony Customer service. When I contacted Sony Customer Service, I was told that even if I bought from Sony Lazmall does not guarantee it is a local set. I was totally shocked! In the end, customer service promised to check the issue for me and finally emailed me a day later to say the serial number has been updated and I could go ahead to do the online warranty registration. I feedback this via the review on Sony Lazmall on Lazada but my review being not 5 stars is been hidden from public view.

Bought it, installed it in my room and within hours, couldnt connect to the wifi. I have an extender in living room and fibre optic main. Had to get a firestick to use it exclusively. A smart tv that isn't that smart. As it stands, it is inferior to my 32" sony bravia I got about a decade ago. Shame on me, I didnt do my research. If I had I would have known this was a common problem plaguing the sony tv lines with no respite. I was going off of nostalgia of having a good 10 year old sony bravia that never gave problems. Yes, picture quality and sound quality is good. But so what? cant connect to wifi, the niche it is supposed to be known for.

If you want an expensive product that will fail in less than 1 year, be sure to buy this one because Sony will offer the option to buy a new one instead of replacing it. So just don't buy this one.

After many decades, got a Sony TV for home. Features are good. Ports are placed at the sides. It's look big for a 55" screen. Has a study built. For fast moving actions, motions dont seems to be smoothen out., eg, Clapping of hands. Audio is good but there aren't any movie/sports/news modes. Google interface is good.The remote is long. The mic function is very good.

Great Sound System and a very good Zen design on the remote-control system. Simplicity.

Happy with the overall features and quality of pictures

Picture quality not ideal, although it is clear and sharp. The colours and brightness cannot be in sync, no matter how I adjust them. So, the picture quality becomes bright but colour is not rich enough.

Bought about 2 weeks ago. Happy with the purchase.

Didn’t work and had to get it replaced - bought a more expensive Bravia and waiting for delivery and hoping it doesn’t have problems

Good tv, nice colour and good sound. Easy to operate.

Good sound quality and sharp image. Pretty responsive customer service. Well organised delivery.

Not good quality screen got vertical lines on the screen

Received my SONY 55" tv on the 6th Jan 2024 and I was very excited about it. What's not to love? It's a SONY!!! But... The TV won't stay off. Every time I 'off' the TV via the remote, it restarted on its own in less than 3 mins. Every single time. So reluctantly, I switch off the mains. The next day, switch on the TV again, and it 'reset' on its own. And it's not a one-time thing. Every single time I switch off the main power, it goes into 'erasing mode' when I switch it on again. So I just leave the mains on and switch off the display via the configuration shortcut. A technician came down to fix the issue. Replaced the mainboard and it still didn't work. Somehow it got it 'fixed' because the button at the bottom of the TV is stuck. It was working again... Right until a few hours later when I realized that it had switched on by itself. (Mains was on). So I decide to switch off the mains and turn it back on again. And guess what? It goes to the 'erasing' page again. I love the TV. Don't get me wrong. And I understand that sometimes you're just unlucky since it's a mass-produced product. But still, it is a brand new TV that I was excited about and it's been having this problem since it first arrived. (and I can't find any crying emoji to insert =(() Currently, almost 3 weeks later, I'm waiting for the support team to update me on the status.

Bought a month ago, overall value for money product. Sound wise need to be improved, the rest are ok.

Less than 3 months the TV kaput!!! And instead of repairing or replacing one immediately; I am now TVless for what I have been told for the rest of the week !! Was taken away and I am still waiting for it .!!

I bought this few weeks ago very lousy remote Colors

I bought this TV set a month ago and I am so happy I did that. No regret.

This was a replacement set for my bedroom. The internet connectivity for this model was a disappointment. My previous Sony X90 and X85 was excellent without problems.

It was right sized. Excellent color. Hope it last as long as the Made in Japan that we bought in 2010

I was using a higher end model KDX9500 however it's spoiled just after the 3Y official warranty and repair price quoted was 2.2K so decided to downgrade. This is no where match to the quality in terms of sound and picture.

Good quality. I have checked the same song in other brand. Song stands with quality

I bought it in June and since then i had to call multiple times. it does not support my hard disc when the previous model did.

We find image often broken and frozen on and off . Pic often hang, sometimes become discolored image like the attached video. We have 2 sets of TV : one Sony and the other Samsung. Samsung one have no issue at all. Appreciate if you can send someone to check on our Sony TV. Thank you

Bought this TV less than 2 months, starts to have issue. Screen will auto gone blank and start flickering

The sound quality is great , the pictures come out great as well .. My only grouse is that , if it had its own native browser the TV experience is will be even better .

Brought the TV a week ago. Have great features and the colour is good. Google TV make watching TV fun.

I'm glad that i bought this tv, it comes with Google TV, Netflix, prime video & Youtube. Watching movies is nice as well since it is 4K Ultra HD. Price is reasonable and quality is good.

Not able to download Chrome web browser and it’s allowing only other unreliable browsers.

We bought this TV because we have always liked Sony products, but the main reason we wanted to be able to use the apps was to go directly to the JW LIBRARY app. This TV won't let us load this app which is very disappointing to us.

The reliability, features & price point are the real pull factor. I have always admired Sony Bravia TVs being a quality product.

I bought this two weeks ago till date it has met all my expectations

I have had this TV for 9 months and it has acted crazy since I have had it. It changes channels all by itself when connected to an antenna. It also goes crazy and turns the sound off then the screen goes blank and finally it shuts itself off. I does this randomly at least once a day if not a few times a day. The only way to get it to work again is to take the power away and then restore it.

Overall satisfied sony product ….sound quality also very good worth is money

Turn on the TV but it doesn't show the program immediately. We have to click a few buttons before getting to the correct HDMI setting each time we turn on the TV. Very Very user unfriendly. Sony even reduce cost by closing down the hotline department. God knows where they learn this business operation from.

I bought this 55X75K last month, sound output was not working properly.

Bought this Google T.V in Mar 2023. Find boosting is very slow every time when turn on compare to my other Sony Android TV.

Bought this TV recently, Quality of picture is really great. Google TV is nowhere compared to Apple TV. Use as monitor with Denon soundbar.

I bought this a month ago and is quite satisfied with the resolution. There are comparable features compared to my previous Sony 50" TV KDL-50W704A, however, I am disappointed that this newer TV does not have the PIP feature that was available in my much older Sony TV.

Bought it a month ago, and very happy with the picture quality. The only issue is that it takes a while for the TV to turn on.

Bought this TV 2 weeks ago. The edge of the TV is rough, which does not give a smooth feel. I understand about 3rd party integration having issue, but I am disappointed as it does not integrate seamlessly with my Sony Soundbar via HDMI (ARC) port, which resulted in jerky video image & lip-sync issue. Not sure is it a bundle with the TV or TV does not provide a good TV remote control, The TV remote control is quite static and not like a movable mouse like LG TV remote control, which result in more effort in moving the cursor when doing search for TV or Apps program.

I have had this TV for less than a month and have found it to be the most frustrating TV I've had to date. I am very comfortable with WIFI and smart TV set-up and use. My two issues with this TV are the black vertical line that is there every time I turn on the TV and the recurring loss of the WIFI signal. I have never had to reset my router for my TV to work, as my other TVs have no connection issues. In less than a month, I have re-set the TV to factory settings and re-set the router four-five times. I have done much internet searching about this issue with this TV and found that both the "black line" and dropped connection is a common problem. I am most frustrated as I bought this TV based on the Sony name and the advice of the sales person at Best Buy. How I wish I had gone with my first inclination to buy a Best Buy Insignia which has never failed me.
