Excellent optical performance

Four aspherical elements and one ED (Extra low Dispersion) element in a 9-element 8-group optical design contribute to high resolution throughout a 16-50 mm zoom range (35mm full-frame equivalent: 24-75 mm). Colour bleeding is minimal, clarity is excellent, and smooth bokeh is available when needed.
