The Sony® universal remote control will not accept component program codes longer than two digits.
IMPORTANT: Complete instructions and component codes for programming the Remote Commander® remote control are available on the Sony eSupport Web site.
The universal remote control may have been packaged with the incorrect component code sheet. This incorrect code sheet includes codes that are 3 or 4 digits long.
Drop the first digit for the 3-digit code listings and drop the first two digits for the 4-digit code listings.
