The InterVideo® WinDVD® BD software is missing after installing a Windows® 7 operating system upgrade.

    1. Download and install the WinDVD BD version 8.0.20.79 software.
    2. Once the WinDVD BD version 8.0.20.79 software installation is complete, immediately download and install the latest WinDVD BD version software update, available through the Drivers & Software link on this page.
    3. Restart the computer.
    4. Follow this procedure to ensure the correct Region has been properly set within the WinDVD BD software:
      1. On the Taskbar, click the Start button, point to All Programs, point to InterVideo WinDVD BD for VAIO, and then click InterVideo WinDVD BD for VAIO.
      2. In the InterVideo WinDVD BD for VAIO window, right-click in the middle of the screen and, from the menu, click to select Setup.
      3. In the Setup window, click the Region tab.
      4. On the Region tab, click to select the desired region code setting and then click the OK button. Image
