How to register the internet video device on the Sony Essentials website

    IMPORTANT: Not all Blu-ray Disc™ players, Home Theater systems, and TVs have internet capabilities. Check your manual for model-specific information. Manuals are posted on your model support page.

    Sony Essentials is where you can register and manage your Sony streaming home entertainment products and services. Steps to register your internet device will vary based on the type of product you register and Essentials account status.

    Note:

    • The device being registered must be connected to the Internet
    • The specific products that can be registered are displayed in the Essentials website

    Note: The message Device is Registered is displayed when the device has been previously registered to another Essentials account. You must unregister the device in order to generate a registration code.
