Using the Chromecast built-in feature on your Soundbar or AV receiver

Make sure that the Chromecast™ built-in (Google Cast™) is version 1.21 or higher on your Sound bar or A/V receiver.
Follow these steps to check the software version of your audio device:
- On your audio device remote control, press the HOME button.
- Select Setup.
- Select System Settings.
- Select System Information.
- Check the Chromecast built-in version.
- If the version is lower than 1.21, update the software of your audio device. Downloads are posted on your model support page.
