How to reset or initialize the WF-XB700 earbud headphones

    Follow these steps to reset or initialize the headphones.

    Reset the earbud headphones

    1. Press and hold the button on the left unit for about 20 seconds.

    2. Release your finger when the indicator (red) turns off after flashing.
    3. Then press and hold the button on the right unit for about 20 seconds.

    4. Release your finger when the indicator (red) turns off after flashing.

    Note:

    • If the headset does not operate correctly even after resetting, initialize the headphones to restore factory settings.
    • The device registration (pairing) information and other settings are retained.

    Initialize the headphones to restore the factory settings

    1. Press and hold the buttons on both the left and right units for about 15 seconds.

    2. Release your fingers within 5 seconds after the indicators (red) start flashing.

      Note: Check that the indicators (red) on both the left and right units light up before you hold your fingers to the touch sensors on both units.

    3. Press the buttons on both the left and right units within 10 seconds after the indicators (red) light up.

    4. After a few seconds, the indicators (blue) flash 4 times, and the initializing is complete.
      If you are not sure if the initialization process has completed, wait a few minutes and start over from step 1.
      Do not put the headset back in the charging case before the initialization process is complete.

    Notes:

    • This operation resets volume settings, etc. to the factory settings, and deletes all pairing information. In this case, delete the pairing information for the heaphones from the device and then pair them again.
    • If you have updated the software after purchasing the headphones, even if you initialize it, the software is retained.
