How do I find out the model number and name of my smartphone or tablet? (Android 9 or higher)

Find the model number and name of your Xperia® device

1. Find and tap Support.
2. In the Home tab, click on Device Overview.
3. The name and model number appear under Model in the format NAME (MODEL NUMBER)

Find the model number and name when the device is off

1. Most newer Xperia devices have the IMEI number on a label tray inside the SIM card slot. Depending on the device model, you may need to remove the SIM cardholder to access the label tray. Use your fingernail or an unfolded paper clip (or similar) to drag the label tray outwards.

   Note: Other models with a removable back cover have the IMEI number under the back cover.

2. If you can't find the IMEI number, look for the product's name on the device's box or the original receipt or invoice. The device's name is also printed on the cover of the Startup guide.
