ERROR 4057 or ERROR 22: Can’t access apps and services or complete a software update from the network for the KD X690E series

If your TV displays either of the following messages:
- Your TV needs a software update to access internet content.
- System data cannot be found. Please check your network settings or connection.
Follow the steps below to install a required software update.
- Download the software update to a USB storage drive and install it on the TV.
As an alternative, you can perform a Factory Data Reset and then install the software through the internet:
WARNING! Performing a factory data reset will remove all customer settings in the TV including Google™ account settings, apps, channels, and wireless network settings.
- On the supplied remote, press the HELP button.
- Under How to use your TV, select Help Guide (Manual)
- Select Settings.
- Select Configuring the TV.
- Select Watching TV or TV.
- Select Settings.
- The next steps will vary depending on your TV menu options:
- Select Device Preferences → Reset → Factory data reset → Erase everything → Yes
- Select Storage & Reset → Factory data reset → Erase everything → Yes
- Complete the Initial setup of the TV.
IMPORTANT: Once the Initial setup is completed, wait 24 hours before initiating the software update. - Activate a software update through the Customer Support Menu:
