Should I connect a Soundbar or TV to a gaming device?
IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products. Check the Applicable Products and Categories section of This article.
We recommend a gaming device be connected to the HDMI IN port of the TV. However, if the TV's HDMI IN port is unavailable because another device has already been connected, you can connect the gaming device to the HDMI IN port on the Soundbar.
To enjoy the VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) or ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) features, confirm that the TV supports these features. You can check which BRAVIA™ TV models support VRR or ALLM in the article Which of the HDMI 2.1 Standard's features are supported by which TV models?
