STAMINA mode is not working or shows incorrect values
This information does not relate to the STAMINA mode present in some Xperia™ devices running Android™ version 6 (Marshmallow).
This article is about the STAMINA mode available in Android™ versions 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 5.0 and 5.1.
STAMINA mode constantly evaluates your usage of the Xperia™ device and adjusts the expected standby time accordingly. In some cases, you might experience that the estimated standby time does not change after you turn on STAMINA mode. The estimated standby time varies depending on your usage of the device. If you have a high level of usage and rarely turn off the display, you might only see a slight improvement in the estimated standby time. This is because the power saving functions in STAMINA mode are only triggered when the display is turned off.
The estimated standby time is based on previous usage history. If you have just started to use your Xperia™ device, the estimated standby time might not represent a correct estimation until you have used the device for a few days. This is because STAMINA mode doesn't have any previous usage history from which it can base any estimations. If little or no improvement in the estimated standby time is shown after you turn on STAMINA mode, you can reset STAMINA mode by clearing all usage data.
