Vibrating feedback suddenly stops working

You might experience that you’ve set your Xperia device to vibrate mode, but that the vibration has stopped working, for example, for incoming email messages. The reason that vibrating feedback suddenly stops working may be that STAMINA mode has been activated automatically to save battery power.

• Try deactivating STAMINA mode, either manually or by connecting a charger to your device. If this solves the problem, STAMINA mode has most likely caused the vibrating feedback to stop.

Android 7.0 or 8.0

To deactivate STAMINA mode manually

1. Drag down the status bar to open the Notification panel and then tap the notification STAMINA mode activated.
2. Drag the slider beside On to the left.

Android 6.0

To deactivate STAMINA mode manually

1. Drag down the status bar to open the Notification panel and then tap the notification STAMINA mode activated.
2. Tap Never to deactivate STAMINA mode.
