What is the maximum communication distance for the S-AIR™ wireless products?
The maximum communication range is approximately 150 feet (46 meters). However, the distance may be shortened if there are interfering items, such as metallic substances, walls, or other equipment using the 2.4GHz bandwidth.
NOTE: Common household items that operate at the frequency range of 2.4GHz and are therefore possible causes of interference are cordless telephones, wireless routers, Wi-Fi® service and Bluetooth® devices, X10 devices, and microwave ovens.
To avoid interference among the S-AIR products, the distance should be longer than 8 meters (26 1/4 feet).
