The procedure to display or remove the date and time during playback varies depending on the type of camcorder.
- For CCD-series camcorders, press the DISPLAY button on the camcorder or supplied remote control.
- For DCR-series and HDR-series camcorders, press the DATA CODE button on the camcorder or supplied remote control.
IMPORTANT: For camcorders with a touch-screen LCD, the DATA CODE button is located in the menu.
NOTE: To display the time and date on a television, some camcorders have a Display Out (DISP OUT) function that must be set to V-OUT/LCD in the menu.
