The video from the camcorder does not display on the television.
Follow the steps below to troubleshoot if the video from the camcorder does not display on the television.
IMPORTANT: If the video from the camcorder does not display on the televison but can be seen in the viewfinder or LCD, the problem is most likely a connection issue.
- Ensure the camcorder has been connected properly using one of the following scenarios:
- Camcorder connected to TV using an Audio/Video (A/V) cable
- Camcorder connected to TV using a S-Video cable
- Camcorder connected through VCR using Audio/Video (A/V) cables
- Camcorder connected to TV using an i.LINK® cable
- Camcorder connected through an A/V receiver .
- If playing a tape, ensure it has been rewound to the beginning of the recording.
- Ensure that the video plays back on the LCD or viewfinder of the camcorder.
- If the video still does not display on the TV, replace the connecting cables.
NOTE: If the issue is still unresolved after completing the troubleshooting steps, service may be required .
