What is Base ISO?

IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check Applicable Products and Categories for details.

The Base ISO is the lowest ISO setting on the camera. It allows for shooting content without any gain. This setting is recommended when there is sufficient light in the scene, as it produces the best image quality, the least noise, and the widest dynamic range.

For more information on Base ISO, refer to the Help Guide for Creators.

Note: When recording content using Log shooting, the Base ISO setting is necessary to achieve the highest flexibility.
