The message All your photo resources are hidden. To show some, change your settings can appear when using the Photos app to view photos or videos if no source locations have been chosen.

Follow these steps to change the Photos app setting and view images from different sources.

1. Point to (but do not click) the lower-right or top-right corner of the screen, and then click to select the Search charm.

   NOTE: The Windows Logo + Q key combination will also take you to the Search screen.

2. In the Search screen, click the Apps category, and then click the Photos icon.
3. In the Photos screen, point to (but do not click) the lower-right or top-right corner of the screen, and then click to select the Settings charm.

   NOTE: The Windows Logo + I key combination will also take you to the Photos Settings screen.

4. In the Photos Settings screen, click Options.
5. In the Options screen, under Show photos and videos from, click to place a check mark next to the desired photo source.
6. In the Photos screen, the selected source will now be displayed.
