How do I back up or transfer data using a computer?
Valid for
Computers running Windows® 8.1 or higher
It is recommended that you back up your data to a computer when you have large volumes of media files, such as photos, videos, or music files. You can also transfer your data from an old phone to your new phone by connecting both phones to the computer simultaneously.
Notes:
- Make sure your device is fully charged before the start of the operation.
- Backing up may take several hours. We recommend keeping your device connected to Wi-Fi® and power.
