How do I initialize aibo?

    You can initialize your aibo™ robotic companion from your smartphone or computer.

    Note: Initializing aibo clears all the data, including personality, memories with its owner, what it learned in daily life, and the settings you made. There is no way to restore the cleared data.

    • Using a smartphone:
      1. Launch the My aibo app.
      2. Select My aibo.
      3. Select Settings.
      4. Select Initialize aibo.
      5. Select Initialize.
    • Using a computer:
      1. Launch the My aibo app.
      2. Select Settings.
      3. Select Initialize aibo.
      4. Select Initialize.

    It may take a few minutes to complete the initialization. aibo automatically restarts when the initialization is complete.
