Common issue
Regardless of the situation, first, check the following:
Make sure the screen is not tilted or curved.
Note: The screen may become curved while rolled up for storage.
- Example of viewing the screen from the front or side.
- For example when the screen is not placed flat or leveled.
Issue 1: When the image is out of focus from the beginning
If the front of the unit is not parallel to the screen, the image will be out of focus. It also causes the center and four corners of the screen to be out of focus at the same time. For more details, check the following:
Adjust the installation angle of the unit and be careful of the following points:
- If the screen is not flat or the front of the unit is not parallel to the screen, one side of the image will be large and blurred.
- Avoid using the unit if it is tilted. Only install the unit on a level surface or the ceiling. Installing the unit in such a location may result in uneven color uniformity.
- If the unit is tilted up or down, the image on the screen may be trapezoidal. Position the unit so that the lens is parallel to the screen.
Example images for unsuitable conditions
- A: 15° or more
- B: 10° or more
Adjust the position of the projected image using lens shift and the size of the projected image using lens zoom.
Note: For details on adjusting the position or size of the projected image, refer to the Adjusting the Position of the Projected Image section on the Help Guide.
