When the Soundbar is connected to the TV, audio from other devices is delayed

    When there is a sound delay from the Soundbar connected to another device (Blu-ray Disc player, Gaming console) and your TV, try these troubleshooting steps depending on your connected device.


    Select your option


    The audio and video are out of sync when a Blu-ray Disc player or Set-Top Box is connected to the TV

    Set the A/V Sync function on your TV to Auto or ON:

    Note: A/V sync is a function that adjusts the output timing to suppress the gap between the video and sound from the audio device connected to the TV.

    1. Go to the Settings screen on the TV.
      • If the remote control has a Quick Settings (spanner or gear) button, press the Quick Settings button and select Settings.
      • If the remote control does not have a Quick Settings button, press the HOME button and select Settings.
    2. The following steps will depend on your TV menu options:
      • Select Display & SoundAudio outputAudio systems settingsAuto or ON.
      • Select Display & SoundAudio outputA/V syncAuto or ON.
      • Select SoundA/V syncAuto or ON.

    If the issue still occurs, try another connection method.

    2. The following step will depend on your TV menu options:
      • Select Display & SoundAudio outputAudio systems settingsAuto or ON.
      • Select Display & SoundAudio outputA/V syncOff.
      • Select SoundA/V syncAuto or Off.

    Additional troubleshooting

    If your Soundbar has an HDMI IN terminal, you can connect an external input device (such as a Blu-ray Disc player or gaming console) directly to the Soundbar instead of your TV, which may improve sound delay issues.
