Can't Access the Home Menu After the Software Update on My Android TV

    Follow the steps below if you can't use the HOME button on your remote after you update your Android TV™ device.

    1. On the supplied remote control, press the HELP button.
    2. Under How to use your TV, select Help Guide.
    3. On the left pane, select Settings.
    4. Select Configuring the TV.
    5. Select [TV].
    6. Select Arrow (settings) to pull up the settings menu on the right pane of the TV screen.
    7. Under the TV category, select Apps.
    8. Select System software update.
    9. Select Clear data.

    If the HOME button still doesn't work after you perform the steps above, follow the steps below to perform factory data reset.

    IMPORTANT: Performing a factory data reset will remove all customer settings in the TV including apps, channels, and wireless network settings.

    1. Press the HELP button.
    2. Under How to use your TV, select Help Guide.
    3. On the left pane, select Settings.
    4. Select Configuring the TV.
    5. Select [TV].
    6. Select Arrow (settings) to pull up the settings menu on the right pane of the TV screen.
    7. Under the TV category, select Storage and reset.
    8. Select Factory data reset.
    9. Select Erase everything.
    10. Select Yes.
