Screen reader function for my LCD/LED TV

The screen reader works by vocalizing information on your TV screen. This function makes it easier to navigate features such as the program guide and settings screen on your TV.

Before you start

• The screen reader function only supports the English language.
• Only some apps, such as the YouTube™ service, support the screen reader.

Activating the Screen reader function

1. On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Accessibility.
4. Select Screen reader.
5. Select On.
6. Press the Return button to exit.

Changing the Speech Rate

1. Press the HOME button.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Accessibility.
4. Select Speech rate.
5. Select your preferred speech rate.

Prioritizing the screen reader audio

1. Press the HOME button.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Accessibility.
4. Select Prioritize speech audio.
5. Select On.
   • When this feature is set to on, the volume level of the background audio is low while the screen reader is reading.
