How can analog video recorded with an 8mm or Hi8 camcorder be converted to the digital format?
Analog video recorded with an 8mm or Hi8™ camcorder can be converted to the digital format using one of the following methods:
- Burn the video to a DVD using a stand-alone DVD recorder .
- Copy the video to a digital tape using a MiniDV or Digital 8® camcorder .
- Copy the video to a computer using the analog-to-digital pass through feature of a MiniDV camcorder .
- Copy the video to a computer with Audio/Video (A/V) inputs using video capture software .
NOTE: If you copy the analog video to a computer and your computer has a built-in DVD burner, you can create a DVD using the built-in DVD burner .
